Revisión bibliográfica sobre la influencia de la educación nutricional familiar en la prevención de la obesidad infantil Literature review on the influence of family nutrition education on the prevention of childhood obesity

Resumen
La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo principal analizar, mediante la revisión bibliográfica, la influencia de la educación nutricional familiar en la prevención de la obesidad infantil. Para desarrollar el estudio se empleó un enfoque cualitativo, diseño documental y alcance descriptivo analítico, por medio de la revisión sistemática de la literatura, empleando el método PRISMA. La búsqueda fue realizada en PubMed, Google Académico y Dialnet, tomando en cuenta artículos publicados entre 2023 y 2026, relacionados con niños de 2 a 12 años y la participación de padres, cuidadores y familiares. En los resultados se reveló que las prácticas parentales, las comidas familiares y la disponibilidad de alimentos en el hogar tienen influencia en la formación de hábitos alimentarios. De igual manera, las estrategias educativas más integrales combinaron la orientación nutricional con actividades prácticas, la participación familiar y aplicación de aprendizajes en el hogar. Además, se revelaron efectos favorables en prácticas parentales y hábitos alimentarios, en tanto que los cambios antropométricos fueron heterogéneos, mediante ello se llegó a la conclusión que la educación nutricional familiar es una estrategia preventiva importante, aunque su efectividad dependerá de las características, personas y componentes de las intervenciones implementadas y del contexto familiar donde estas se desarrollan
