Educación virtual y su relación con el rendimiento académico en estudiantes de Educación Básica Superior Virtual Education and Its Relationship with Academic Performance in Upper Basic Education Students

Resumen
La educación virtual se ha consolidado como una modalidad educativa que favorece el acceso al conocimiento mediante el uso de tecnologías digitales, plataformas de aprendizaje y recursos interactivos. En los últimos años, su implementación ha transformado los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje, promoviendo nuevas formas de interacción entre docentes y estudiantes. Sin embargo, la efectividad de esta modalidad depende de diversos factores relacionados con el acceso tecnológico, las competencias digitales, la autonomía del estudiante y la calidad de las estrategias pedagógicas empleadas. En este contexto, la presente investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la relación entre la educación virtual y el rendimiento académico en estudiantes de Educación Básica Superior. El estudio se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental, de corte transversal y alcance descriptivo-correlacional. La información se recopilará mediante un cuestionario estructurado con escala tipo Likert aplicado a estudiantes de Educación Básica Superior. Los datos serán procesados mediante estadística descriptiva e inferencial para determinar el nivel de utilización de la educación virtual y establecer su relación con el rendimiento académico. Se espera evidenciar que una adecuada implementación de la educación virtual favorece el aprendizaje, fortalece la autonomía del estudiante y mejora el desempeño académico. Los resultados aportarán evidencia científica para fortalecer las estrategias de enseñanza virtual y contribuir al mejoramiento de la calidad educativa en la Educación Básica Superior.
