Efectividad de los juegos Educativos Digitales en el Rendimiento Académico en Educación Universitaria: Revisión Sistemática Effectiveness of Digital Educational games on Academic Performance in University Education: a Systematic Review

Los juegos educativos digitales se han convertido en estrategias innovadoras dentro de la educación superior debido a su capacidad para promover aprendizajes interactivos, motivación y participación estudiantil. No obstante, existe variabilidad en la evidencia científica sobre su efectividad directa en el rendimiento académico universitario. Evaluar la efectividad de los juegos educativos digitales en el rendimiento académico de estudiantes universitarios mediante una revisión sistemática de literatura científica. Se realizó una revisión sistemática siguiendo las directrices PRISMA 2020. La búsqueda se efectuó en las bases de datos Scopus, ProQuest, PubMed, PsycINFO y ERIC, considerando estudios publicados entre 2021 y 2026. Se utilizaron términos relacionados con juegos educativos digitales, aprendizaje basado en juegos, educación superior y rendimiento académico. Se identificaron 520 artículos y, tras aplicar criterios de selección, se incluyeron 30 estudios para el análisis. La información fue examinada mediante una síntesis narrativa. Los estudios revisados evidenciaron que los juegos educativos digitales favorecen el rendimiento académico universitario mediante mejoras en la adquisición de conocimientos, comprensión de contenidos y aplicación práctica del aprendizaje. Además, se identificaron beneficios relacionados con la motivación, participación, compromiso académico y disposición para aprender. La efectividad estuvo asociada con la integración del juego al currículo, el diseño pedagógico, los objetivos de aprendizaje y la retroalimentación inmediata. Los juegos educativos digitales representan una estrategia efectiva para fortalecer el aprendizaje universitario cuando se implementan con planificación pedagógica y coherencia curricular. Sin embargo, la diversidad metodológica de los estudios indica la necesidad de continuar investigando sus efectos a largo plazo
